Clients also needed help with the technical and physical safeguards behind those policies. As more clients began asking for help with vendor-driven risk assessments, that early work expanded into a full security compliance offering — one built around helping Long Island businesses navigate what the industry is actually dictating they do.

In the beginning, it was working with a lot of our medical clients and regulation — they needed help with that. Also with the industry of PCI compliance with the credit card industry. We saw that these clients not only need to have the administrative piece, which is your policies and procedures, but they also need to address the technical and physical safeguards to ensure they're meeting the regulations.
Over the years it's kind of morphed. As HIPAA was growing and everything was moving towards that, we started getting other clients coming to us — over the transom, so to speak — saying, can you help us with this regulation? Now I'm getting from my vendor that wants me to adhere to these strict risk assessments.
So we kind of morphed into opening it up to this full risk assessment offering — a security compliance offering — to help these businesses navigate what the industry is actually dictating them to do.
