About this video

Flexible IT is proudly located in the Long Island Innovation Park at Hauppauge, the second largest industrial park in the United States and the largest east of the Mississippi. This short commercial from HIA-LI captures what makes the Park a uniquely productive place to build a business, told through the voices of the people who lead it and work there every day.

Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone, Town of Smithtown Supervisor Ed Wehrheim, HIA-LI President and CEO Terri Alessi-Miceli, and HIA-LI Board Chair Joe Campolo walk through the scale of the Park (1,300 companies, 55,000 employees, an estimated $13 billion in economic output) and its tight connections to Stony Brook University, Brookhaven National Lab, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, and the Feinstein Institute.

Four business owners based in the Park explain why they chose it as a place to grow: Anthony Federico of Liberty Moving & Storage, Mark Wolf of Contract Pharmacal Corp, Steve Tiffen of The Tiffen Company, and Chris Valsamos of Castella Imports.
